We worked very hard to plan an awesome reunion, and we hope that you had a blast...we definitely did. Now we need your help. Unfortunately, we did not meet our F&B minimum at the Hyatt, and we personally owe the Hyatt $2,000, which is owed by September 15. Whether or not you were able to attend the reunion, we appreciate your help more than you know. After speaking to so many supportive classmates throughout this difficult situation, we realized how truly lucky we are to have graduated with so many really great people.

You asked and you shall receive...we have reinstated the Friday night event. With many thanks to David Hur, the event will be at a private room at the Speakeasy. The price of this event is included in your registration fee for the reunion. You MUST be registered for the reunion to attend this event. This event will be from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. The address is 412D Congress Ave . We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hey, Class of ’94 !
We’ve got good news & bad news. The bad news is the economy is in the toilet – we all knew that, right? But the GOOD NEWS is that due to dramatic shift in the economy, which affects everyone’s financial situation, we were able to go back to the Hyatt and renegotiate our reunion ticket price! We are able to drop the cost by $10 per ticket! So the new price per person is $30, which is your admission, dinner, dancing, and whatever surprises may be planned. If you’d like to have all of your drinks included for the night, add $40 for a bar wristband (same price as before – they wouldn’t budget on the booze). We were very happy to accomplish this new $30 ticket price, as we do not want anyone to miss the reunion because of cost. We hope this will be helpful.

If you have already purchased your ticket(s) at the old rate, you will get a refund. If you’d like your refund in advance, email Dana L. at danamlewis@hotmail.com and note if you’d like a refund via PayPal or if she should mail you a check (include your address). Otherwise, you can collect your refund at the door to our party room at the Hyatt the night of the reunion.

Please buy your reunion tickets today so we can make plans for the group. If you’ve joined the Class of 1994 Reunion group on Facebook, that is awesome! – but it doesn’t save your spot. Buying your tickets saves your spot.

We think there is a misconception that the reunion at the Hyatt will be a formal event. Quite the opposite. You can wear jeans, sundresses, etc. We chose the Hyatt as a location because they offered the best overall package in terms of food pricing, bar packages, sleeping room rates, and central location in the city. Don't let the location fool you! This will be a casual event!

When you are registering for the reunion via PayPal, please do not forget to list the names (and class if applicable) of all individuals for whom you are paying. This will be how we create the registration list that will allow your entry into the event on Saturday night. Thanks!

We hope that you are able to attend the Bowie Class of '94 And More Reunion. Even if you did not graduate in 1994, if you want to catch up with old friends that did, you are welcome to attend!
